Spanish Mortgage Lenders

We broker the whole Spanish Mortgage market and are completely independent.

We have more than 30 different Spanish mortgage lenders whose products we currently use and in total have approximately 100 different Spanish mortgage products to choose from.

There are even more available but we only use the leading products that provide the best value for money to our clients.

Most estate agents will use one or two banks – some will use a few more but since it is not in an estate agents interests to secure you the best deal, there really isn’t much incentive for them to search the whole market. This is one of the reasons we recommend you utilise the services of a completely independent Spanish mortgage broker.

Here are just some of the banks we use:

  • Santander
  • BBVA
  • UCI
  • Caixa Catalunya
  • Caja Madrid
  • Bancaja
  • Halifax Espana
  • Lloyds TSB Espana
  • Lloyds International
  • Leeds and Holbeck
  • Manchester Building Society
  • Solbank
  • Deutsche Bank
  • Banco Pastor
  • Banesto
  • La Caixa
  • CamBank
  • BankInter
  • Barclays Espana
  • Banco Popular
  • Kutxa
  • CitiBank
  • CajaSur

There are many more and we will use whichever banks offer the best products. It is not only good interest rates that are important though, it is also important to consider how easy is it to actually get the mortgage advertised in the window. Many expats have chosen a bank on the basis of publicity in a window or newspaper only to find 2 or 3 months into the proceeds – and with a deposit at risk – that they do not meet the criteria of the bank or the bank have withdrawn their product.

This is where we really come into our own. As we are working with these banks on a daily basis, we tend to know what they will and won´t do, what type of clients they are looking for and the type of information that we can and cannot give a bank when we are submitting a case to them.

We do not submit cases at random. If we send your mortgage application to Banks A and B but not Bank C you can rest assured that we have done our homework and decided that you have the best possible chance of being accepted by those banks, first time.

Once we have some offers on the table from a few lenders we can decide which products best suits you and your needs/requirements.
